A live evening with Imam Dawood Yasin
Walking the Hijra: what the road teaches that a book cannot
Most of us learned the Hijra from a page or a minbar. One evening with Imam Dawood on what changes when you learn it on foot, on the road he ﷺ travelled, with people who have walked it.
- What the Hijra walk is, and why it exists.
- Knowing about the Hijra and knowing it: why lived experience teaches what study alone cannot.
- What the days on the road are like, and what people carry home.
- How the walk comes together, and your questions answered live.
Hosted by Imam Dawood Yasin
Who this evening is for
For anyone who has read about the signs of Allah and wanted to stand in front of them
You have heard the Hijra from a hundred minbars. This is the road itself: the plants, the ground, the sky, and what they say.
More Islamic content than any generation before us, and still the distance. An evening on why, and on what closes it.
Hunters, hikers, campers, and anyone who has felt closer to Allah under a sky than under a roof.
A spouse, a brother, a friend. Register them too and watch it together.
Know the Hijra, not only about it
Why a story you have heard all your life lands differently when you stand where it happened.
Hear it from someone who walked it
Imam Dawood on the days on the road, and what the people who walked it carried home.
See how you could walk it too
How the walk comes together, from preparing at home to arriving in Medina, with your questions answered live.
